Planet for Tomorrow Film Festival screenings continue through 2009 at The Regional Municipality of York Administrative Centre

Environmentally-themed films highlighted at monthly screenings 
NEWMARKET …quot; The Planet for Tomorrow films showing at The Regional Municipality of York Administrative Centre continue with an exciting line-up of must-see documentaries and films.  Once again, York Region is pleased to offer free admission for all movies.

DATE: Thursday, March 19th; Garbage!  The Revolution Starts at Home:  After reducing, reusing and recycling, how much garbage is actually left over?  Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home chronicles one average, urban family either keeping or weighing and recording every scrap of garbage it produces for three months.  Whether it is plastic bags or air pollution created by the family vehicles, the family discovers that every action carries a reaction affecting them and the entire planet.

The Regional Municipality of York Administrative Centre is located at 17250 Yonge Street in the Town of Newmarket and is easily accessible by public transit, including Viva and YRT.
