The Regional Municipality of York screens Planet for Tomorrow film

Tableland to be shown at York Region Administrative Centre  
Newmarket – The successful Planet for Tomorrow film festival will screen Tableland as its final film before the summer at The Regional Municipality of York’s Administrative Centre.  Admission is free.

TIME:  7 p.m.
WHEN: Thursday, June 11th; Tableland: This film for foodies follows the journey of sustainable food production from British Columbia to Quebec.  Chefs, farms, teachers and writers celebrate the production of delicious, seasonal food from field to plate. 
The Regional Municipality of York Administrative Centre is located at 17250 Yonge Street in the Town of Newmarket and is easily accessible by public transit, including Viva and YRT. 
Films shown at York Region’s Planet for Tomorrow screenings have been previously included in the not-for-profit Planet in Focus International Environmental Film and Video Festival.  For information on this festival, please visit www.planetinfocus.org
