The Regional Municipality of York to host consultations for Water and Wastewater Master Plan updates in Richmond Hill and Whitchurch Stouffville

 

NEWMARKET The Regional Municipality of York will be hosting Public Consultation Centres (PCC) in the Town of Richmond Hill and the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville next week to receive input from residents on the Region's Water and Wastewater Master Plan update.

 

The Water and Wastewater Master Plan update is a 40-year planning blueprint for water and wastewater services in York Region that will allow us to effectively and sustainably create and maintain facilities that will be required to service our growing communities.

 

The PCCs are two of four announced dates that form the third round of public discussions for the Region's Water and Wastewater Master Plan update.  Discussion will focus on:

Town of Richmond Hill
Tuesday, January 20th  
South Services Centre
50 High Tech Road, Richmond Hill

 

Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville
Wednesday, January 21st  
Latcham Hall in the Park
8 Park Drive, Stouffville

 

Meetings will feature an open house at 6:30 p.m., presentation at 7:30 p.m. and facilitated discussion at 8 p.m.
