TIME:  7:00 p.m.
WHEN: Thursday, October 16th – Edge of Eden: Living with Grizzlies:  In the most easterly region of Russia, the endangered grizzly bear finds a protector and defender in Canadian conservationist Charlie Russell.  As a surrogate parent, he struggles to reintroduce orphaned cubs to the wild against the backdrop of a dramatic landscape filled with lurking predators and poachers.
Tuesday, November 18th – Sounds of Sand: The village well has run dry. The livestock are dying. Trusting instinct, Rahne and his family decide to head east on a journey of hope, and ultimately danger.  Sounds of Sand chronicles a family’s exodus through hostile lands under a lethal sun, while at the same time taking us in the footsteps of Shasha, a young girl whose tenacity and strength earns her father’s love.
Tuesday, December 16th – Water Bearer : Suharto’s rule has left Indonesians with rural water systems so rudimentary that villagers spend their days manually transporting water to barely cover basic needs. The quest for survival through fresh water leads Indonesians of Catholic and Muslim descent to work together to establish direct democracy.
