All lanes on Highway 27 north of King Road to re-open this afternoon

Pavement repairs due to broken watermain to be complete before evening rush hour
NEWMARKET The two northbound lanes on Highway 27 north of King Road closed for repairs since April 9th will be open before rush hour tonight as work is completed by repair crews from the Township of King.
The two northbound lanes of Highway 27 from the intersection of King Road to approximately 100 metres north of King Road were closed last Wednesday due to a watermain break.
While traffic has still been moving through the affected area, it was restricted to one lane in each direction.  Following repairs to the pavement, all four lanes will be open to traffic.
The Regional Municipality of York would like to thank motorists for their patience as these necessary repairs were made.
