Come celebrate spring at the York Regional Forest!


Spring Forest Festival fun for the whole family
NEWMARKET The Regional Municipality of York will be celebrating Earth Week with a number of events, including an invitation to residents to attend our Spring Forest Festival on Saturday, April 26th.
 
When:  Saturday, April 26th
  10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 
Where: The York Regional Forest
  Eldred King Tract
  16232 Highway 48 (east side of Highway 48, just south of Vivian Road)
  Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville
 
The Spring Forest Festival features horse-drawn carriage rides through the forest, tree-planting, and a walking tour that includes looking for snakes and salamanders.
 
Bring your gloves and shovel if you would like to help with tree-planting, and take a seedling home to plant.
