Express service to Paramount Canada’s Wonderland to start July 1st
NEWMARKET – Beginning this Saturday, York Region Transit’s (YRT) popular “Wonderbus” service will be up and running for the third summer in a row. The Wonderbus is an express bus service to Paramount Canada’s Wonderland that operates during the summer months on weekends and holidays.
The express Wonderbus service will run from July 1st for the duration of the summer to September 4th.
The express Wonderbus routes include:
• Route 318 Wonderbus via Highway 407/400
(serving the Towns of Markham and Richmond Hill and the City of Vaughan)
• Route 319 Wonderbus via Highway 400
(serving the Towns of Newmarket and Aurora)
The Wonderbus routes stop at eight designated locations across York Region and have been an ideal way for residents of York Region to visit Paramount Canada’s Wonderland while avoiding the worries and stresses of parking and driving.
The cost of a one-way ticket for the Wonderbus is $2.75 for a single passenger and $9.00 for a family of four. Infants under the age of two travel for free.
In addition to the express Wonderbus routes, a number of other routes can be taken to get to Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, including YRT Route 4 Major Mackenzie (Monday to Sunday), YRT Route 20 Jane-Concord (Monday to Sunday) and TTC Route 165A Weston Road North (Weekends and holidays only).
