Motorists and pedestrians asked to stay clear of intersection until roads repairs completed

NEWMARKET York Regional Police have closed the intersection of Highway 7 and Jane Street in the City of Vaughan following a pavement failure that has made the roadway unstable.

York Region officials are currently working to stabilize the intersection.  However, it cannot be determined at this time how long it will take before the intersection can be re-opened.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to make alternate travel arrangements in order to avoid the intersection and affected area.
