The Month of May is Rabies Awareness Month


NEWMARKET –York Region Health Services Department, Health Protection Division, together with area municipalities and the Canadian Veterinary Association, has arranged a low-cost rabies clinic in York Region. Pet owners are encouraged to attend and have their dog/cat vaccinated against rabies.
 
There is only one clinic available in the Region this year that offers a discount rate. The details are as follows:
 

WHERE: Hollingsworth Arena – 35 Patterson Street, Newmarket
 (off Davis Drive between Prospect Street and Leslie Street)
 
WHEN: Sunday, May 30
 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
 
COST: $15.00
