Learn about energy efficiency and greening your community at free evening forum

YORK REGION Energy bills too high?  Concerned about the environment?  Come out to the York Region Sustainable Communities Forum at the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan on Tuesday, June 1st and learn what you can do and what's being done in your community on energy efficiency and greening initiatives.
From 6:00 to 9:30 p.m., listen to presentations; view display exhibits; tour Earth Rangers Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, Canada's most energy efficient building; and take a stroll along the Energy Trail. 
Guest speakers include Ian Jarvis, Chair of the Green Building Council Innovative Energy Efficiency Solutions; Jim Baird of the Town of Markham Markham Centre; Steve Carpenter of Enermodal Home Energy Efficiency; and Ian Buchanan, York Regional Forester.
