Learn about the role of managers - the scarcest resource of all

KING TOWNSHIP The York Region Human Services Planning Coalition's It's All Here Initiative is holding a learning forum with Dr. Linda Duxbury entitled "Capable Managers The Scarcest Resource of All".   A professor at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, Dr. Duxbury will use data from a national study of over 32,000 Canadian employees to discuss the role of manager within the organization and outline the behaviours associated with good and poor management.  Participants will then look at what the difference of having a supportive manager makes to key employee and organizational outcomes.

The forum will be held on Wednesday, January 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (lunch included) at Seneca College, King Campus located at 13990 Dufferin Street in King City.  Cost is $50.00.  Contact Catherine Quattrin at (416) 491-5050, Ext. 5053 for more information or to register.
