York Region hosts Jingle Bell Walk For ongoing circulation to December 7, 2003


NEWMARKET The York Regional Forest in partnership with York Region Health Services is hosting a Jingle Bell Walk on Sunday December 7th at the York Regional Forest Headquarters.

 

Come join us for a guided walk, learn about natural Christmas trees and hear enchanting stories of Christmas traditions in the forest. Remember to dress warmly.

 

Date:                           Sunday, December 7, 2003

 

Time:                            2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

 

Location:                       York Regional Forest Headquarters, Hollidge Tract

(east side of Hwy 48 between Vivian and Aurora Roads)

 

 

The Forest will be filled with walkers wearing the festive sound of jingle bells. To receive a bell, participants are asked to please bring a non-perishable food item for the Whitchurch-Stouffville Foodbank. The Tufford Family Tree Farm is also offering a five-dollar coupon towards the purchase of a Christmas Tree to every family that participates.
