York Region Transit offers free rides on long weekends this summer

NEWMARKET - As part of York Region's "Stay 'n Play" SARS Recovery Program, York Region Transit (YRT) will be offering free rides on long weekends this summer.

Anyone can ride YRT buses for free on August 2-4, 2003 and August 30-September 1, 2003, by presenting their Stay 'n Play card. The Stay 'n Play card was part of York Region's Road Map to Savings and Excitement brochure, distributed in Metroland newspapers on the weekend of July 12 and 13, 2003.

If you did not receive the Road Map to Savings and Excitement brochure, they can be picked up at local Town Halls, Chambers of Commerce or Boards of Trade. Alternatively, the brochure can be mailed to you by calling (905) 883-3442 or 1-888-448-0000.
