Section of 16th Avenue to close temporarily for repairs

MARKHAM 16th Avenue west of Shorthill Drive, between Kennedy Road and McCowan Road in Markham, will be closed for construction next week due to a settling of the eastbound lanes.

Work will commence July 2, 2002 and will continue until July 7, 2002.

Due to the scope of repairs, the work cannot be completed in a reasonable amount of time during evening and weekend hours only. Therefore, the road will be closed to through traffic for the entire duration of the construction project.
